Humanistlabbets kurs Språkkorpusarbete ges under feb-mars 2012. »

Monday, December 19th, 2011ET-seminar 2011-12-16: Choice blindness and implicit measures of detection
Friday, December 16th, 2011At today’s seminar Philip Pärnamets presented his study that uses eye movements to investigate choice blindness. In this paradigm, participants are tricked into thinking they selected something else than what they actually selected. Although this effect is considered stable across many tasks - people do get fooled, and do not remember what they actually selected… »

ET-seminar 2011-12-09: Using Multiple Instance Learning for Event Detection in Eye Movement data
Friday, December 9th, 2011At today’s seminar Henrik Blidh presented his master thesis in mathematical statistics entitled ‘Using Multiple Instance Learning for Event Detection in Eye Movement data’. Like Linnea Larsson’s seminar a few weeks ago, Henrik’s thesis targets the detection of blinks, fixations, saccades, smooth pursuit, and glissades, but, unlike Linnea, Henrik approaches the problem from a machine… »

ET-seminar 2011-12-02: Detection of lesions in zoomable microscopes using eye tracking
Monday, December 5th, 2011At today’s seminar, Thomas Jaarsma and Halzska Jarodzka presented a planned study where the eye track physicians who diagnose lesions from x-rays using a zoomable microscope. Most eye-tracking studies of the medical diagnosis process have worked with still images, often x-rays of chests or mammograms. Working with zoomable images introduce many new challenges, just like… »
